Exploring target respondents’ acceptability (evaluation) towards new concept and product (Smartphone application that could recognized daily activities through GPS)

Online Quantitative Research and Qualitative Research

Quantitative:

- Online Concept Test questionnaire

Qualitative:

- 2 Phases of Focus Group Discussion

- 1 week Home Use Test (HUT)

Target Respondents

Have sports activities and routine activities

Smartphone users (Android OS, iOS, Windows, Symbian OS)

Willing to accept HUT (Home Use Test) of Smartphone Application for 1 week and agree to fill the assessment form.

Level of Education: Senior High School and Above

Passive English speaking

Articulative, open-minded and expressive

Sample Size 

Online Research

500 respondents online questionnaire

FGD:

6 respondents divide by 2 Group (3 respondent per group)

Length of interview

Online Research

~ 20 minutes questionnaire (30 ~ 40 Questions)

FGD:

~ 2 hours per group

2 Weeks (1 week HUT)

* Conduct group (Fieldwork FGD (Phase 1))

* Summary Report (Phase 1)

* Briefing / supervising with all the respondent to apply HUT

* Monitoring of HUT execution (Phase 1+2)

* Conduct group (Fieldwork FGD (Phase 2))

* Data Input of Assessment Form Responses
